MBBS Program Catalogue

The MBBS Course Catalogue provides comprehensive descriptions for every course across the full six-year program. Spanning all four phases - pre-medical foundations (Years 1–2), integrated organ-system blocks (Years 3–4), core clinical clerkships (Year 5), and advanced rotations (Year 6) - each entry details course objectives, key content areas, and learning outcomes for all 244 credit hours. The catalogue covers foundational sciences, block-based medical curricula, longitudinal courses, clinical clerkship rotations, and elective offerings.

Upon successful completion of the six academic years of the MBBS program, students are required to undertake a mandatory 12-month clinical internship as stipulated by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCHS). The internship spans the major clinical specialties - Internal Medicine, Surgery, Pediatrics, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Emergency Medicine, and Family Medicine - and constitutes the final phase of the MBBS degree prior to graduation and licensure to practice medicine in the Kingdom.
