The College of Medicine (COM) at Prince Mohammad bin Fahd University is established to be a leader in population health and rural medicine, delivering a premier, international-standard medical education that addresses vital healthcare gaps within the Kingdom. Developed in strategic collaboration with the University of Illinois Chicago (UIC), the college features a globally-aligned, 6-year integrated curriculum that mirrors elite US medical training while adhering to the SaudiMED Framework and NCAAA standards. Upon completion of the academic program, students transition into a mandatory Internship Year, as required by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties, to solidify their clinical expertise. This partnership ensures a world-class pedagogy, offering students unique global exchange opportunities and access to cutting-edge research grants. Supported by the high-fidelity simulation labs within the Learning Resource Center and the integrated Prince Mohammad bin Fahd Specialist Hospital, the COM provides a student-centered, co-ed learning environment focused on evidence-based care and the medical delivery models of the future.
