A Message from the Chair

Dr. Bassem E. Maamari Welcome to the Human Resource Management Program at the College of Business Administration, Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd University. Our program has established a strong foundation: it is academically aligned with SHRM standards, our graduates demonstrate excellent employability, and our faculty contribute impactful research to leading international venues. These achievements reflect a team of dedicated professionals whose strategic goals are aligned and whose commitment to our shared KPIs continues to drive the program forward. Looking ahead, we will also seek additional global certifications and curriculum alignments, such as CIPD, to further strengthen the international recognition and competitiveness of our program.

Building on this success, we are entering a new phase of activating and strengthening the department. We are enhancing our curriculum by infusing up-to-date knowledge and emerging technologies, and by integrating AI into teaching and learning so that students graduate fluent in the tools shaping modern HR practice. Our students and clubs will take part in varied forms of experiential learning, supported by industry-integrated activities that connect the classroom to the workplace and give students hands-on exposure to real professional challenges.

Our mission remains to prepare future HR leaders who add value through effective problem-solving and decision-making, and who contribute to the success of organizations in a competitive global business environment. We also aim to develop leaders who understand the social impact of their decisions and who champion sustainable business practices, building workplaces and organizations that create lasting value for people, communities, and society. Whether you are a student seeking a bright future career, a faculty member pursuing a rewarding career, or a researcher aiming for deeper knowledge, we invite you to join us on this journey.

Welcome aboard.
