Kingdom Saudi Arabia has invested heavily in the oil industry, which resulted in a rapid growth and development in the economy and in the various industrial sectors. This has created a need for a substantial number of graduates and post-graduates capable of leadership in diverse fields of engineering, information technology, business, culture, education, and public administration. Electrical sector in particular is one of the industries that is growing rapidly in Saudi Arabia. Several landmark infrastructure projects are being initiated in the Kingdom, and this needs continuous strong support from university to have competent graduates capable of designing, implementing, managing, and monitoring various types of these highly innovative projects. With commitment to educating future generation with advance knowledge, the PMU COE and the Department of Electrical Engineering will produce graduates of high distinction to contribute in covering the high demand for electrical engineering professionals in Saudi Arabia and beyond.
