Overview

Due to rapid growth in the industrial economy in Saudi Arabia and the increasing need for strengthening the communication and knowledge exchange between universities and the industry, this department is focused on strengthening links between Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd University (PMU) and the industry in the eastern province and the kingdom of Saudi Arabia as a whole. The establishment of this department is fundamentally aimed to enable PMU achieve one of its strategic goals which is to continue enhance the university’s reputation and effectiveness and increase its visibility locally and internationally.

Via the department of industry and business relations, PMU aims to establish and strengthen the channels between its colleges and industry to better contribute to the industrial community and to take advantage of exchanged knowledge to continuously enhance its students’ knowledge and experience to meet the market needs.
