In collaboration with other divisions at Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd University (PMU), the team of the Deanship of Quality and Accreditation (DQA) aims to fulfil the strategic objectives of the university by promoting the culture of quality and its practices; enhancing the reputation of PMU by obtaining academic and professional recognition nationally and internationally and improving the efficiency and effectiveness of PMUs academic processes. As a result of this collaborative effort, PMU has acquired a competitive position among Saudi and regional universities in the Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) ranking and it has received a 5/5 rating based on its distinguished practices. Furthermore PMU has acquired international and national accreditation from reputable accreditation bodies such as the Saudi National Commission for Academic Accreditation and Assessment (NCAAA), the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) and the High Council for the Evaluation of Research and Higher Education (HCERES), and now it’s in the process of pursuing accreditation from the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACS), Council for Interior Design Accreditation (CIDA), and the Commission on English Language Program Accreditation (CEA) and Program Accreditation (NCAAA). The deanship’s team will continue to support PMU’s mission and dedicate its resources to achieve its aspiring vision.
