Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd University (PMU), Saudi Arabia, will organize an international, virtual conference on conflict prevention and resolution (CCPR 2022) on 10 -11 May, 2002.
The world is changing in almost every aspect of human life on scale never seen before. Changes in the global economy, education, and technology are capable of producing conflicts and creating barriers to conflict resolution both at the domestic level and in the international arena. Traditional conflict resolution may not succeed in the 21st century without amendment and/or the introduction of new theories, laws, and practices. Education has a role to play in enhancing young people’s skills in the area of peace and conflict management and in developing relevant competencies and positive values and attitudes.
The PMU Conference (CCPR 2022) will address ways and explore models through which differences can be reconciled and peaceful co-existence may be assured for everyone on the planet.
Accepted, high quality papers will be considered for publication in a special issue of the International Journal of Development and Conflict, a Scopus-indexed open access journal. CCPR will sponsor the open access fees of the papers accepted for the special issue.
