Center for Applied Energy and
Industrial Decarbonization

Applied, decision-grade research advancing energy transition and industrial decarbonization from analysis to implementation. CAEID delivers applied research and translational projects that support industry and policymakers in planning, evaluating, and implementing credible pathways toward net-zero across energy systems and industrial sectors.

Through close collaboration with industry, utilities, and public-sector organizations, the Center produces studies, roadmaps, and pilot concepts that directly inform investment decisions, operational strategies, and policy design.

CAEID welcomes collaboration with industry partners, policymakers, researchers, and students who are interested in addressing applied energy and industrial decarbonization challenges through rigorous, solution-oriented research.
