Freshman Admission

Applicants who have completed their secondary school and seek direct entry to the undergraduate program, and wish to bypass the Preparatory Program, can apply to PMU for freshman admission. However, they have to provide a PMU recognized proficiency English language test certificate with acceptable scores.

Admission Criteria

The applicant’s eligibility for direct admission into degree studies is based on the following:

  • Completed online application (Apply now)
  • Acceptable secondary school GPA *80% or equivalent
  • Acceptable General Aptitude Test score *60% (Qudrat)  or equivalent (SAT 1)
  • A valid IELTS certificate (Academic version) with Minimum scores of 5.5 overall and 5.0 in writing
  • Personal interview with the Admissions Office
  • College admission is based on separate criteria (click here appendix 1)

Students with a lower percentage can apply, however, acceptance will depend on the overall results of the following criteria:

  • Secondary School  30%
  • General Aptitude Test 50%
  • Personal Interview 20%

How to Apply:

  • Complete online application (Click here)
  • Submit documents before due date (admissions calendar)
    • Two recent passport-size photographs
    • Copy of secondary school certificate
    • Copy of General Aptitude Test (Qudrat) or equivalent (SAT 1)
    • Copy of Saudi ID or “Iqama” (for Non-Saudis)
    • Copy of Family ID Card (For female applicants - if available)
    • Copy of passport
    • If employed, a letter of no objection from the employer is required
    • Pay a non-refundable application fee of 500 SAR upon submission of documents
  • Submit original IELTS (Academic version) certificate with Minimum scores of 5.5 overall and 5.0 in writing (appendix 3)

Admission Process

  • After receiving and reviewing the above requirements, the admissions office will set an appointment for an interview
  • The final decision will be communicated through the Admissions Office
