Dr. Muhammed Al-Mulhem
Dr. Muhammed Al-Mulhem became the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs in September 2013.
As PMU’s chief academic officer, Dr. Al-Mulhem provides leadership to all the university’s academic programs, fostering excellence in educational opportunities, research and community service. He works closely with the Rector, Vice Rector for Admin and Business Development, and an extensive group of campus colleagues in guiding strategic planning and policy development, in promoting campus-wide academic initiatives and maintaining international standards. He is also responsible for promoting learning enrichment environment for students.
Prior to his arrival at PMU, Dr. Al-Mulhem was an Associate Professor with King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. He has more than forty publications in international conferences, and international refereed journals. He held many positions at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, including Chairman of Information and Computer Science Department, Deputy Director of Information Technology Center, and Dean of Educational Services.
